Tangka

Tangkas are made of pure hand woven silk and colored with only natural colors. All elements used are natural each picture is done by master craftsman. Gold, ruby, emralds, iron, zinc, pearl are some of the natural elements used. Rubar, Saffron, are natural pigments used. Tangkas are all made from traditional techniques that have been passed on for centuries from generations to generation.

Each Tangka is individually painted by master craftmans and have taken months to complete. The history and tradition behind each painting will bring to you the blessings and wisdom of buddism and its dieties . The colors of the paintings give off a natural aura that radiates serenity and tranquility. Make a donation today and receive a beautifully crafted Tangka.

 























 

 
 
To received a Tangka we request a donation of 1,000USD to our foundation. All Tangka are individually painted and original works from members of our Foundation in Qinghai.
